
I’m one of those people that love a routine. I have my “starting the day routine” and don’t dare to change it or I’ll get extremely grumpy. Breakfast is the most important meal for me and it dictates how my day is going to be. I don’t mind getting up earlier to prepare a nice ‘breakie’, it doesn’t need to be fancy but have to look pretty and appealing. Most of the time I have fruit salads or a nice slice of grains and raisings toasted bread with apricot jam (my favorite) and grapefruit juice. Loooooooooove grapefruit. Some items you can even prepare the night before like this oatmeal with berries and yogurt. I just put them in a jar with a lid in the fridge. And the next morning…Voila! I got breakfast covered so I can catch up with “my girls” (that’s how I call my favorite bloggers).
