Going for a hike you, me and Louis.

Monday my husband decided to surprise me and take me for a ride. The day was glorious, sunny; the temperature was in the 80s it felt like summer. He didn’t tell me where we were going no matter how much I asked. So imagine my reaction when we entered the “Solstice Canyon” I was beyond myself because I wasn’t dressed for a hike. Then we started to argue about my bag, he wanted me to leave “ Louis” in the car, and of course I wouldn’t. So it was something like that:
Him- please leave Louis in the car.
Me- No way!
Him- it’s a hike, you don’t need Louis.
Me- I’m taking Louis.
Him- Fine, but I’m not carrying Louis for you.
Me- Fine.
Him- Fine.
So on the way to the waterfall there were few obstacles, some creek crossing that required some skill at scrambling and climbing large boulders. Here I’ll let the picture speak for itself. How my husband laughed for 10 minutes until he almost choke with a bug.

Sounds like fun hiking despite the bag LOL The weather looks so nice! I can’t wait for all of our snow to melt already!

Hi Natasha, I know….I hope spring start soon for you guys. Spring is my favorite season, the veggies and herbs looks great at the FM.

i am so incredibly jealous if your beautiful day and hiking! I cannot wait for this snow to melt — but I can finally feel that Spring is coming!
You are too funny with the bag — but why leave beautiful Louis in the car?! I’m sure he appreciated the sunshine and pretty scenery, too!

@ Kristy, how crazy was that? But I couldn’t leave “Loius” behind. he will mock me forever for that.
