About Me!
First I would like to thank you for coming and visiting. It makes me very happy to read your lovely comments and have the chance to visit you back; I have found amazing people through this blog. My name is Anna, I write and photograph the Chefwanabe site. I’m a Brazilian expatriate living now in sunny Los Angeles but was lucky enough to have already lived in Sydney Australia for 3 years (I miss you terribly Ozzys) and in New York for 6. I love to travel and try different country foods. I love to cook; as much as I love to eat, I love to cook things like pizza, pastas and breads made entirely by scratch. And that’s probably because of my Italian ancestors. I’m a cookbook addict I can’t resist them I own more than 500 recipe books. The majority of the recipes here are my original recreations. There are a few family recipes and some adaptations of existing recipes. I’m not a chef or professional cook, please don’t tell anyone. My approach to food is use seasonal, fresh products. You can totally spot me almost every Wednesday at Santa Monica Farmer’s Market or Sundays at Hollywood FM photographing and choosing my next ingredients for my meals. Because I believe the best ingredients make the best food.

Your site is wonderful – I really love your photography. I love reading blogs by people who live in New York… it’s one of my favorite places to visit. I love to go to Chelsea Market when I’m in the city and just wander around… Not living in the city, there aren’t too many options other than the regular old grocery store around here.
Looking forward to reading more of your blog!

Thanks Jen I’m glad you liked, and Chelsea Market is great, I only think their produce is a bit lousy, they could do better. Than it would be perfect.

Hello,
I visited your website and I am very much impressed with your hardwork on it. I was wondering if can add a link to your website on my resource page at mexicovacationtravels.com. I am trying to link with websites that my visitors might find useful and visit them when they leave our site. And also if you think my site is worthy, maybe you can link back to it. If that is fine with you, Please send me the title and URL you wanted me to use for your link and I’ll send you mine on my next reply. I will be looking forward to your reply. Take care and thanks.
Luis

Hi,
I’m glad that I came across your blog. You have some very useful and interesting posts there. I will put a link to your blog from my site, if this is okay with you.
I help run a store called HiSunglasses.com; it’s not really a big one, but it’s getting there. Please have a look. If you could possibly place a small link of my site, that would be really great.
Have a great day and hope to hear from you.
Happy blogging.

Hi Anna,
Love your blog and so glad to be friends on Foodbuzz! I’ve been a California girl all my life up until a year ago when I moved to NYC and what a change it’s been! t’s so great to read about your adventures in my old stomping ground. I always loved visiting the Hollywood farmers market especially with the typical sunny LA weather.
Looking forward to following
